As COVID-19 developments and the Government Guidelines changes daily, we want to assure you that Landmark Insurance & Financial Group continues to function as your trusted insurance agency.  We have taken many steps during the past several years that allow us to work remotely.  Our systems run at full capacity giving us the ability to maintain contact with you and the many companies we represent.

1.What if I have a scheduled appointment?

  • ALL SCHEDULED IN OFFICE APPOINTMENTS WILL BE REPLACED WITH PHONE APPOINTMENTS OR EMAIL APPOINTMENTS. 

2. I like to come into the office to make my payments, can I still do this?

  • For right now, We will continue to take all phone payments as usual.  You can also mail a money order rather than a check. Make sure to include your policy number and policy type with the payment you are mailing. Please keep in mind processing time could take longer so make sure to mail in the payment to allow enough time, so there is no laps in coverage.

5.How will we complete my policy review that I had scheduled?

  • All policy reviews will be done by telephone.

6.  What if I have a question about my policy? 

  • All policy questions will be taken by telephone, email, or text and answered in a timely fashion.  You can expect a response via phone, email or text.

7. If I call the office, will someone be there to answer my calls?

  • If your phone call goes to voicemail, please leave a clear message and return phone number.  YOUR CALL WILL BE RETURNED.

8. Are my quotes going to be done as they usually are?

  • All quotes, or re-quotes will be processed as quickly as possible.

Maintaining Mental Well-Being During Quarantine:

1. Maintain a Routine:

  • Maintaining a routine and "normalcy" as much as possible is key to keeping your mood lifted and to prevent boredom and stress.
  • If your children are home it's VERY important to set a structured schedule and incorporate learning activities throughout the day!

2. Get a Good Night's Sleep:

  • Breaking your normal sleep routine can have a negative effect on your overall mental-well being
  • Try to AVOID sleeping in or going to bed extra early!

3. Spend Time Outside:

  • Unless health Officials have told you NOT to go outside, try to go out periodically throughout the day!
  • Sit in your backyard with a book, take a walk around the block- Absorb that Vitamin D!

4. Use the Power of Technology

  • Don't isolate yourself completely- take advantage of video chats tech to stay i touch with your loved ones. 

5. Don't Obsess Over the News

  • It's easy to become overwhelmed with all of the COVID-19 updates.  
  • It's important to stay informed, but don't monitor the news all day long, just check for updates once in the AM and again in the PM.

6. Practice Positivity and Gratitude

  • Take 5 minutes a day to write down the things that you are grateful for:
  • This has been proven to lower stress levels and can change your mindset from negative to positive!

How Your health Insurance May Have Changed:

  • Prescriptions - Health insurance companies are required to waive any time restrictions on prescription refills, so individuals can obtain medications before any quarantine.
  • Lab Tests - Health insurance companies are required to waive cost-sharing, including lab fees, co-payments, coinsurance, and deductibles for any visit to test for Coronavirus at a doctor’s office, urgent care center, or emergency room.
  • Vaccine - Health insurance companies are required to waive any cost-sharing, including co-payments, coinsurance, and deductibles for vaccination for Coronavirus, when a vaccine becomes available.
  • Telehealth - Health insurance companies are being asked to consider telehealth options. This will help to reduce the likelihood of exposure to and transmission of Coronavirus.
